Alpha Dog of the Week
You can tell when news has broken our from being just a "local" story and has hit the main stream consciosness when it gets picked up by the Daily Show or the Colbert Report. The irony (and I guess, humor) of the issue has been presented to the world by the Scouts getting the coveted Alpha Dog of the Week award.
I continue to maintain that all the people “on the ground” are honest, trustworthy, (etc, etc) people. The young men and their leaders represent a movement that is everything the scout handbook suggests and calls for. The disconnect is at the upper levels, where it has simply turned into a business, where business decisions get made.
